The Turks and Caicos is a good vacation spot for many reasons. It has beautiful beaches, clear turquoise waters, great weather, friendly locals, and is relatively untouched by tourism compared to other Caribbean islands. Beaches: The beaches on the Turks and Caicos are some of the best in the world.

Grace Bay Beach was named the #1 beach in the world by TripAdvisor in 2016 and is often ranked highly on other lists as well. Providenciales (commonly known as “Provo”) also has numerous other gorgeous beaches that are worth exploring. Some of our favorites include Long Bay Beach, Bight Beach, Malcolm’s Road Beach, and Sapodilla Bay Beach.

Waters: The clear turquoise waters around the Turks and Caicos are simply stunning. They make for perfect days spent swimming, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, or just relaxing on a floaty. There’s also excellent fishing both offshore and inshore if that’s something you’re interested in.

Weather: The weather in the Turks and Caicos is pretty much perfect year-round. Temperatures hover around 80 degrees Fahrenheit with very little humidity. Of course there are occasional tropical storms during hurricane season (July-November), but these are usually short-lived and don’t do much damage.

Friendly Locals: One of the things we love most about visiting the Turks and Caicos is how friendly everyone is! From taxi drivers to waiters to shopkeepers, everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have a good time on your vacation.
