The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is responsible for public education in the state of Texas. The agency is headquartered in Austin and is overseen by the Commissioner of Education, appointed by the Governor of Texas. The TEA’s primary responsibilities include administering standardized tests, accrediting schools, and enforcing educational standards.

In recent years, the TEA has been embroiled in a number of controversies, including accusations of cheating on standardized tests and mismanagement of funds. However, the agency continues to be a vital part of the education system in Texas.

Lbj School Course Schedule

The Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin offers a two-year Master of Public Affairs (MPAff) degree as well as a Ph.D. in public policy studies. In addition, the school awards joint degrees with other graduate units on campus, including the LBJ School of Law. Each fall and spring semester, the school releases its course schedule for the upcoming term.

The schedule lists each class offered by subject area, along with the time and location of the class, instructor name(s), and a brief description of the class content. Classes are typically scheduled Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, although there are some daytime classes offered as well. The number and selection of courses offered each term varies depending on faculty availability and student demand.

The school offers a wide variety of courses that cover many different aspects of public affairs, including policy analysis, program evaluation, budgeting and finance, nonprofit management, political campaigns and elections, health policy, energy policy, environmental policy, urban planning , international relations ,and more.
