First held at Cleveland Arena
Home games were first held at Cleveland Arena from 1970 to 1974, followed by the Richfield Coliseum from 1974 to 1995. Since 1994, the Cavs have played their home games at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland, which they share with the arena football team Cleveland Gladiators and the American Hockey League’s Cleveland Monsters. Dan Gilbert has owned the Cavaliers since March 2005.
The Cavaliers have had ten head coaches: Bill Fitch, Chuck Daly, Lenny Wilkens, Mike Fratello, Gary Williams, John Lucas II, Keith Smart, Byron Scott, David Blatt and Tyronn Lue. Among those coaches Daly and Wilkens are members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame; each has won at least one NBA championship while with the Cavaliers (Daly in 1980–81 and Wilkens in 1991–92). Four former players have been inducted into either Springfield or Canton: Oscar Robertson (in 1962), Nate Thurmond (in 1985), Jerry Lucas (in 1997) and Bob Dandridge (in 2002); all four played for Wilkens during his tenure as head coach between 1986 and 1993.

Cavs Record Last Year
Prior to the 2017-18 season, the Cavs had never lost more than 26 games in a single season. They finished last year with an abysmal record of 50-128, setting the new mark for worst record in franchise history. It was a long and tough year for the team, as they dealt with injuries to key players, trades, and coaching changes.
Despite all of this, they still managed to stay competitive in many games and even put together a few winning streaks. All in all, it was a forgettable year for the Cavs, but one that they will learn from and use to motivate themselves moving forward.
Cavs Record 2002
In 2002, the Cavaliers set a record for most wins in a season with 61. They also made it to the Eastern Conference Finals that year, but lost to the New Jersey Nets. LeBron James was drafted by the Cavs in 2003 and would go on to lead them to their first NBA Championship in 2016.
