Bodybuilding Competition in Karachi
Pakistan’s biggest bodybuilding competition was held in Karachi on Sunday, with over 200 athletes taking part. The event was organised by the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBBF) and featured a number of different categories for men and women. The competition was divided into two main sections – the Mr Pakistan contest for men, and the Ms Pakistan contest for women.
There were also a number of other side events, including a powerlifting exhibition and an arm-wrestling tournament. The Mr Pakistan contest was won by 22-year-old Ahmed Ali, who beat out 19 other contestants to take home the top prize. Ali is a relative newcomer to the world of competitive bodybuilding, having only started training seriously about two years ago.
He says that he hopes to represent Pakistan at international competitions in the future. The Ms Pakistan contest was won by 30-year-old Zainab Qureshi, who is a veteran of the Pakistani bodybuilding scene. Qureshi has been competing for over 10 years and has won numerous titles both in Pakistan and abroad.
She says that she was very happy to win the competition again this year and that she plans to continue competing for as long as she can.
Olympia Amateur 2022
As the world’s largest amateur bodybuilding event, Olympia Amateur is back for its 8th year in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center from April 28 – May 1, 2022. Olympia Amateur features some of the most elite athletes from around the world competing in Men’s and Women’s Bodybuilding, Men’s and Women’s Physique, Classic Physique, Fitness, Figure and Bikini divisions. This year will also see the return of Wheelchair Bodybuilding with even more athletes expected to compete.
Olympia Amateur is open to all nationalities providing they have an IFBB International Pro Card or are a national champion from their home country. The Olympia Weekend starts on Thursday April 28 with prejudging for all classes except Wheelchair which will be held on Friday April 29. The finals for all classes will take place on Saturday April
30.
National Bodybuilding Championship 2022 The National Bodybuilding Championship is an annual event that determines the national champion of competitive bodybuilding in the United States. The winner of the National Bodybuilding Championship receives a pro card from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), which allows them to compete as a professional bodybuilder. The National Bodybuilding Championship was first held in 1982, and was won by Lee Haney.
Haney went on to win eight Mr. Olympia titles, making him one of the most successful bodybuilders in history. Today, the National Bodybuilding Championship is one of the most prestigious events in competitive bodybuilding, and continues to attract top athletes from all over the world. The 2022 National Bodybuilding Championship will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 16th-17th.
