Nawaz Sharif Wife

Nawaz Sharif is the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, in office since June 2013. He has been married to Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif since 1971 and the couple have three children together. Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif was born on 29 March 1950 into a Punjabi family in Lahore, Pakistan.

She graduated from the University of Punjab with a degree in English literature. After marriage, she moved to Saudi Arabia where her husband was working at the time. The couple have three children: Maryam, Hassan and Hussain.

Kulsoom has been active in politics since her husband’s first term as Prime Minister in 1990. She served as first lady during his second term from 1997-1999. In 2000, she was elected to the National Assembly from Lahore constituency NA-120.

Kulsoom currently serves as chairperson of the Board of Governors of Shahbaz Sharif Medical College and Hospital.
