Who is the King of Politics in Pakistan?
There is no one definitive answer to this question as Pakistan is a complex and ever-changing country with a variety of political actors and factions. However, if we narrow the field down to current national level politicians, then the two most likely contenders for the title of “king of politics” would be Prime Minister Imran Khan and former President Asif Ali Zardari. Imran Khan is a popular politician who has been in the public eye for many years.
He first came to prominence as a cricketer, captaining Pakistan to victory in the 1992 World Cup. He later entered politics, founding his own party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in 1996. The PTI has grown in popularity over the years and is now one of the largest political parties in Pakistan.
In 2018, Imran Khan was elected Prime Minister after his party won a majority in parliament. Asif Ali Zardari is another prominent Pakistani politician who has held a number of high-level positions over the years. He served as Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) from 1993-1996 and again from 2002-2008.
He was also elected President of Pakistan in 2008 but stepped down after completing his five-year term in 2013. Although he is no longer active at the national level, Zardari remains an influential figure within Pakistani politics due to his longstanding connections with various political parties and leaders.
