Houston Texans Stats
As of October 8, 2019, the Houston Texans have played six games and their record is 3-3. They are tied for first place in the AFC South with the Indianapolis Colts. Here is a look at some of their key statistics:
Offense: Total Yards: 2,207 (ranked 18th in the NFL) Passing Yards: 1,351 (ranked 15th in the NFL)
Rushing Yards: 856 (ranked 5th in the NFL) Points Scored: 149 (ranked 11th in the NFL) Turnovers: 10 (ranked T-19th in the NFL)
Defense: Total Yards Allowed: 1,885 (ranked 4th in the NFL) // THIS IS AN AMAZING STAT!! — only behind New England, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore Ravens. — they are ranked AHEAD of Minnesota Vikings who many picked to go to Superbowl this year… ahead of San Francisco 49ers.
. etc.. This is an impressive stat.
— showing that their defense is carrying them while their offense catches up… or perhaps vice versa where their offense is good enough but defense needs work? Regardless..
very impressive stat that isn’t being talked about enough. Further breakdowns will be needed to see where they need help on both sides of the fence but as it stands now.. they are looking like a playoff team with a chance to do some damage if things break right. Passing Defense: 1,331 yards allowed (ranked 6th in the NFL) // another amazing stat… again… only behind New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Ravens. Again… this puts them ahead of Minnesota Vikings…. San Francisco 49ers…. etc.. Very impressive stuff from a defensive standpoint.
Houston Texans Worst Season
The Houston Texans have had a rough season. They started out 0-3, and things only got worse from there. They finished the season with a record of 4-12, good for last place in the AFC South.
This was by far their worst season ever, and it’s hard to imagine things getting any better anytime soon. The Texans were plagued by injuries all season long, and their offense was one of the worst in the NFL. It’s going to be a long offseason for the Houston faithful, but hopefully they can turn things around next year.
Conclusion
The Houston Texans have a long and storied history, dating back to their days as the Houston Oilers. They’ve been through some tough times, but they’ve always managed to come out on top. Their fans are some of the most loyal in the NFL, and they’re always there to support their team.
The Texans have a bright future ahead of them, and they’re poised to make even more history in the years to come.
